The Fellows' Fellowship

What is the Fellows' Fellowship?

A stipend for a nine-month residential fellowship.

For many years NHC Fellows have collectively demonstrated their appreciation for the time and scholarly sustenance they've received at the Center by supporting future scholars through the Annual Fund. Each year, these contributions have been sufficient to at least partially provide a stipend for a member of the following class.

Now, through this campaign, the Center would like to provide all former Fellows the opportunity to contribute in a lasting way by joining together and completing the endowment for the Fellows' Fellowship. This will provide a lasting legacy that speaks to the special place the Center holds for those who know it best.

How Will it Work?

To permanently endow the Fellows' Fellowship will require total contributions of $1,500,000 from supporters and from a match by the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. As of October 1, 2011, $325,000 has been raised toward the final goal from supporters.

Please Make a Gift Now

Support from former Fellows is critical, not only for the financial assistance it provides, but for the testament it makes to the essential importance of humanities scholarship and the work of Center Fellows.

Gifts of all sizes are welcome and your campaign pledge may be paid over five years. If you would like to make a gift from your estate, learn how here. Gifts of cash, stock, and other forms of securities are also gratefully accepted.
